There isn't anything nicer than tearing down old barriers of preconceptions and preconceived ideas. Today it's a great day for United States, as it has been chosen Barack Obama like candidate to be the president of the UE, the first black candidate. I'm really happy for this choice. I think it shows longing of change in the american society and politics. These elections will be remembered because it's was the first time that a black man and a woman disputed the candidature to the presidency.
It's difficult, really hard, for european people, imagine such event in the UE, when we have the preconceived idea that american society is very conservative and religious. I think this is a good oportunity for the americans to demostrate to the world that they have got capacity to make progress, and improve their international relations. And I think the choice of Obama like candidate it was a very good point to relaunch their country.
I'm sorry for my english. This is the first time I write in english in my blog, but I wanted to dedicate this post to my lovely friend Ismahan, a english black girl, who helped me to tear down stupid barriers they don't let grow our best feelings. Thank you, Ismahan. I miss you.
